Château Beau-Site 2019

Beau-Site means beautiful site: Chateau Beau-Site, neighbour to Chateau Calon-Ségur, lies on one of Medoc's highest points, and one has a fantastic view over the river Gironde.

Beau-Sites 18th century underground cellar is one of the oldest in the Medoc and presents the perfect maturing conditions for a wine that is vinified with the same care and technique as a Grand Cru Classé.
Beau-Sites wine is full of power and temperament, a typical Saint-Estèphe with tannins allowing for stocking this wine for some years.
Among the many prizes, Chateau Beau-Site has been awarded, the most recent are Gold Medals for Beau-Site vintages 2002 and 2004 in the Concours General Agricole in Paris and 4 star silver awards by Decanter for Beau-Site 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004. Second Wine: Château Haut-Vignoble Seguin.

Appearance: Intense purple-red color, bright and clear.

Nose: Elegant and fruity, with aromas of fresh red fruits like cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle spicy and woody notes.

Palate: The palate is well-balanced, with a fine tannic structure. The fruit is fresh and prominent, supported by a smooth and velvety finish. The wine leaves a pleasant roundness in the mouth.

Food Pairing: Perfect with grilled red meats, saucy dishes, and aged cheeses. Try it with grilled beef or duck breast.
