🍷 An Unmissable Event for the Vinothèque

The 2025 edition of the Expovina wine fair in Zurich once again confirmed its status as a major event on the international wine scene. This year, the competition brought together no less than 87 tasters who assessed over 1,400 wines, awarding a total of 25 "Best of" titles, 236 gold medals, and 262 silver medals.

In this prestigious setting, the Vinothèque made a strong impression through convivial tastings, privileged encounters with visitors, and the promotion of a unique selection. This moment of exchange allowed us to showcase the diversity and richness of our portfolio and position ourselves among the notable participants of the competition thanks to the awards received.

🏆 A Participation Rewarded with 24 Award-Winning Cuvées

This year, no fewer than 24 distinctions honored our efforts and the quality of the producers we represent. Among them: 2 wines in the "Best of" category, 8 gold-medal wines, and numerous selections in the silver category.

On the podium, in the Best of France – Red Wines category, was Château Clarke 2015 from Domaine Edmond de Rothschild: a great Médoc wine combining power and elegance, supported by silky tannins and a lingering finish that reflects the precision and refinement of the estate. Edmond de Rothschild also stood out with the acclaimed Rimapere Sauvignon, recognized with a Gold Selection award.

In the Best of Economy category, the Douro Superior 2021 from Quinta Vale Da Maria distinguished itself. This Portuguese wine impresses with its generosity and aromatic intensity, revealing the black fruits and spices typical of the Douro Valley, while carrying the hallmark of an iconic producer from the region.

Also awarded gold, with an outstanding score of 89.8/100, was Albariño Burgans from Spanish producer Bodegas Martín Códax. A fresh and expressive white wine with aromas of citrus and white flowers, it perfectly embodies the vibrant, maritime style of Galicia.

This list of awards is a true reflection of the spirit of our selection: classic and refined wines, sun-drenched and generous cuvées, and diverse origins that reflect the richness of the world's wine heritage.
