New - Tiezzi, at the origins of Brunello di Montalcino
New at La Vinothèque: Tiezzi, at the origins of Brunello di Montalcino
La Vinothèque is delighted to welcome Tiezzi, one of Montalcino’s most historic estates, directly connected to the origins of Brunello di Montalcino.
Its history dates back to 1870, when Riccardo Paccagnini, at Podere Soccorso, produced one of the very first wines to officially bear the name Brunello. Tiezzi therefore holds a unique place in the history of the appellation, among the true pioneers of Brunello di Montalcino.
The present-day estate, founded by Enzo Tiezzi in the 1980s, continues this legacy with a resolutely traditional approach: Sangiovese, respect for the terroir, classic winemaking and long ageing.
A historic and authentic estate, intimately linked to the birth of Brunello, which we are particularly pleased to introduce at La Vinothèque.
