Description
Founded in 1912 by Alsatian engineer Marcel Ott, Domaine Ott is a benchmark for Provence wines. Château Romassan, acquired in 1956, is located at the foot of the village of Le Castellet, in the heart of the Bandol appellation. This 90-hectare estate is certified organic and benefits from an exceptional terroir composed of marl, sandstone, and limestone. The 2023 vintage stands out for its elegance, aromatic complexity, and remarkable aging potential.
Tasting
Appearance: Peach hue with rose gold reflections.
Nose: Enveloping aromas of candied citrus evolving towards lemon verbena.
Palate: Clean attack with notes of strawberry and raspberry, mid-palate is tight, harmonious, and fresh, with a subtly balanced finish featuring a hint of pomelo.
Food Pairing: Perfect with seafood, grilled fish, or Mediterranean dishes.
