Friends Collection 2017

Herdade de São Miguel is the flagship of Casa Relvas, a family estate founded in 1997 by Alexandre Relvas in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. Located in São Miguel de Machede, near Redondo, the estate covers more than 350 hectares of integrated vineyards in the heart of a typical Alentejo montado landscape. The ‘Friends Collection’ is a special cuvée made during exceptional vintages, in collaboration with close friends of the house.

Eye  :Intense garnet-red hue

Nose : Quite austere, wild berries and balsamic.

Palate : Remarkable freshness and an excellent structure and balance, with high-quality tannins. It has a complex finish, showing great elegance and aromatic persistence

Food and wine pairing : Full flavored and roasted red meats, game and pork
