Description

Vieil-Armagnac Jean Cave 2005 is a premium Armagnac produced by the Jean Cave house, a traditional distillery located in the Armagnac region. This spirit is made from local grape varieties and aged in oak casks to develop complex aromas and remarkable depth. The distillery is known for its artisanal know-how and mastery of the aging process of eaux-de-vie.

Tasting

Appearance: Deep copper‑amber colour, clear and luminous, indicative of prolonged oak cask ageing.

Nose: Powerful and refined nose with spice notes and dried fruit nuances.

Palate: Firm and balanced on the palate, subtly aromatic with surprising freshness for its age and a long, expressive finish.

Food & Spirit Pairing: Best enjoyed neat as a digestif, paired with aged hard cheeses such as Comté, a square of rich dark chocolate, or alongside a fine cigar.
