Els Pics 2021

Located in La Vilella Alta, at the heart of Priorat, Bodegas Mas Alta is a winery established by passionate Belgian investors who have combined Catalan tradition with oenological precision. The estate is renowned for its powerful, elegant, and expressive wines, crafted from the region's distinctive "llicorella" slate soils.​

Els Pics 2021 is the winery's entry-level wine, designed to reflect the identity of Priorat with accessibility and freshness. Sourced from young vines (8 to 15 years old), it offers a fruity and mineral expression while maintaining the region's characteristic structure. This wine is a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated on steep slopes ranging from 50 to 350 meters in altitude.

Appearance: Deep purple hue with violet reflections.​

Nose: Aromas of ripe black fruits (blackberry, plum), spicy notes, coffee, and cocoa.​

Palate: Smooth attack, silky texture, ripe tannins, fresh finish with a hint of minerality.​

Food Pairing: Grilled red meats, charcuterie, spicy dishes, aged cheeses.​

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C.
