Description
Established in 1897, Dalwhinnie Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands at an elevation of 326 meters, making it one of the highest distilleries in Scotland. The name "Dalwhinnie" means "meeting place" in Gaelic, reflecting its historical location at the crossroads of ancient cattle drovers' routes.
The Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is a special expression that undergoes double maturation: an initial aging in American and European oak casks, followed by a finish in Oloroso sherry casks, adding complexity to its smooth and honeyed profile.
