Vacqueyras - Bio 2025

The Domaine des Amouriers is a family estate deeply rooted in the Vacqueyras appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley. The estate takes its name from the Provençal word “amourier,” meaning mulberry tree, once widely cultivated in the region. Committed to environmentally responsible farming, the vineyard is managed under organic viticulture to preserve the natural balance of the vineyards and highlight the character of the local soils and Mediterranean climate.

The Vacqueyras Organic Red is a generous and structured wine mainly crafted from Grenache, complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre. This cuvée showcases the richness typical of the appellation with ripe black fruit aromas, spicy notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs. Powerful yet balanced, it reflects the depth and authenticity of Vacqueyras wines.

Appearance: Deep ruby colour with purple highlights, showing good density and concentration.

Nose: Expressive aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by peppery spices and garrigue herbs.

Palate: Full-bodied and generous on the palate. Well-structured tannins balanced by ripe fruit. Long finish with spicy and subtle liquorice notes.

Food Pairing: Pairs perfectly with roasted lamb, Provençal beef stew, grilled meats and aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16–18 °C.
