Domaine Grand'Cour, located in Peissy, Geneva, is managed by renowned Swiss winemaker Jean-Pierre Pellegrin. Since taking over the family estate in 1989, he has transformed this historic property into a leading winery, cultivating around 25 grape varieties over 30 hectares. The 2023 Gamay Noir reflects Pellegrin's commitment to quality and authentic expression of the Gamay grape in the Geneva terroir.
Tasting
Appearance: Bright ruby color with violet hues.
Nose: Intense aromas of fresh red fruits, accompanied by spicy and smoky notes.
Palate: Lively attack with beautiful freshness, fine and silky tannins, persistent finish with fruity and spicy notes.
Food Pairing: Perfect with white meats, charcuterie, spicy Asian dishes, or soft cheeses.
Serving Temperature: Serve between 14 and 16°C.
