Alto Najerilla 2023

Viñedos El Pacto is a return to the roots, born from a clear purpose: to preserve the soul of true village wines. In the towns of Cárdenas and Nájera, a handful of old vines—planted between 1915 and 1974—have withstood time. They grow in ferrous clay soils over conglomerate rock, at 600 meters of altitude. This pact between past and future honors artisanal labor, respect for natural cycles, and the living heritage of Rioja, from Sonsierra to Alto Najerilla.

Appearance :Straw yellow of medium intensity, with an attractive shine that gives the glass great luminosity.

Nose : Complex aromas with hints of hay, cream, and pastry, along with subtle citrus notes in the background.

Palate :Long and structured, with excellent acidity. The interplay between oak aging and the grape’s freshness creates notable tactile sensations. Full and creamy on the palate, thanks to complete vineyard ripening and the low yield of old vines. A wine defined by its acidity and balanced by a broad, silky mouthfeel.
