Description
Founded in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage, Maison M. Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most prestigious wineries. Still family-owned, it has become an international benchmark thanks to its pioneering commitment to biodynamic viticulture and its relentless pursuit of the purest expression of terroir. Guided by its motto "Fac et Spera" – do and hope – the House crafts authentic wines that faithfully reflect their origin, from the Rhône Valley to its estates across France and abroad.
Les Meysonniers is an iconic Crozes-Hermitage made exclusively from Syrah. Named after the historic "Les Meysonniers" vineyard in Mercurol, the vines grow on Rhône and Isère alluvial terraces composed of clay, rounded pebbles and gravel. These well-drained soils produce a Syrah with generous fruit, silky tannins and refreshing balance, offering an elegant and approachable expression of the Northern Rhône.
