Description
Founded in Beaune in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s leading family-owned wine houses. Over the generations, the family has developed a philosophy centred on faithfully expressing Burgundy’s diverse terroirs. Its style is defined by finesse, elegance and balance, while respecting the individual character of each appellation and vintage.
The Mâcon-Villages Blanc 2024, made exclusively from Chardonnay, comes from the Mâconnais, a vast wine-growing area in southern Burgundy, close to Pouilly-Fuissé. The soils, composed of Jurassic clay and limestone, provide particularly favourable conditions for Chardonnay.
