Description
Located in the heart of Portugal’s Douro Valley, Quinta da Boavista is one of the historic estates of the region. Situated near the village of Pinhão, the estate is surrounded by spectacular terraced vineyards overlooking the Douro River. With a long winemaking tradition, Quinta da Boavista is known today for producing high-quality wines that reflect the character of the Douro terroir.
The Alicante Bouschet – Quinta da Boavista cuvée is made from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety, known for its deep colour, rich aromas and powerful structure. This wine expresses the intensity and elegance of the grape in the Douro climate, revealing aromas of dark fruits, spices and subtle oak notes.

Appearance: Very deep ruby colour with purple reflections.
Nose: Intense aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and plum with hints of spice, cocoa and toasted oak.
Palate: Full and structured entry. Rich and concentrated palate with firm but elegant tannins. Long and persistent finish with dark fruit and spice notes.
Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled red meats, game dishes, slow-cooked meals or aged cheeses.
Serving Temperature: Serve between 16–18 °C.
