Prima 2024

Founded in 1716, Quinta do Vallado is one of the historic estates of Portugal’s Douro Valley. Located near Peso da Régua, the winery remains linked to the Ferreira family, connected to the legendary Port wine figure Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. Today the estate combines tradition and modern winemaking techniques to produce wines that reflect the unique character of the Douro region.

The Prima 2024 cuvée is an elegant white wine made from carefully selected Portuguese native grape varieties. Grown on the characteristic schist soils of the region, the wine shows freshness, aromatic finesse and balance. It offers a modern and precise style with notes of citrus, white fruit and delicate minerality.

Appearance: Bright pale yellow colour with greenish reflections.

Nose: Fresh and expressive aromas of citrus, green apple, white peach and delicate floral notes.

Palate: Fresh and lively entry. The palate is balanced with fruit flavours and a vibrant mineral tension leading to a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled fish, seafood, light salads or Mediterranean cuisine.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 8–10 °C.
