Tawny Roller Blend

Quinta do Vallado, founded in 1716, is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in the Douro Valley, Portugal. Still family-owned, it is renowned for its fine Douro DOC wines and aged Ports.

The Roller Blend Tawny is a premium aged Port, crafted from a selection of old vines (including Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional). It is matured in 600L oak barrels with an average age of 25 years, delivering outstanding depth and velvety texture. 

Appearance: Deep amber color with warm, brilliant highlights.

Nose: Very intense and complex, featuring dried fruits, caramel, orange marmalade, tobacco leaf, and fine spice notes.

Palate: Round, smooth, and rich, with flavours of candied orange, toasted nuts, and oriental spices, lifted by vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Perfect as a digestif or served with desserts featuring nuts or caramel, crème brûlée, walnut cake, or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Best served slightly chilled at 12–14 °C.
