Description
The winemaker Valentina Andrei settled in Valais (Switzerland) after valuable experience working alongside Marie-Thérèse Chappaz and at the Domaine de Beudon. She founded her own estate in Saillon, focusing on old vines, low yields, and a respectful approach to viticulture, often practised biodynamically.
Gamay Vieilles Vignes comes from old parcels (between 42 and 64 years old) located on the lieux-dits Plan Cerisier, Les Bans, and Le Perrey in Martigny, growing on granitic soils. The wine reflects the winemaker’s commitment to revealing the purest expression of the Gamay grape in a high-quality Valaisan vineyard.
