Petite Arvine
Description
The winemaker Valentina Andrei settled in Valais (Switzerland) after formative experiences at Domaine de Beudon and alongside Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, which shaped her commitment to high-precision and often biodynamic viticulture.
The wine “Petite Arvine” is made from the native Valais grape, grown on the Le Salo plot in Martigny, on granitic soils and steep terraces inaccessible to machinery. It reflects Valentina Andrei’s artisanal approach: gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and mixed ageing in both barrels and stainless-steel tanks.
