Valbuena is the purest expression of fine red wine -Tinto fino- (Tempranillo) at Vega Sicilia. The blend of varieties that make up this magnificent wine has Tinto fino as the predominant grape in a very large majority. The other variety used is Merlot, which will participate to a greater or lesser extent, depending on the vintage.

Appearance: Deep ruby color with garnet reflections, dense and brilliant.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe dark fruits, black cherry, plum, blond tobacco, cocoa, sweet spices and delicate oak notes.

Palate: Broad and velvety texture with fine and perfectly integrated tannins, offering superb balance between power, freshness and elegance. Long, refined and persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with roasted lamb, rib steak, game dishes, fine dining cuisine or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C.
