Description
Weingut Obrecht, based in Jenins in Graubünden, is run by Christian and Francisca Obrecht, representing the fifth generation of the family. The estate follows a nature-focused philosophy, with biodynamic viticulture and low-intervention winemaking. Pinot Noir plays a central role, with wines focused on freshness, finesse and the expression of the Bündner Herrschaft terroir.
Trocla Nera, meaning “black grape” in Romansh, is a 100% Pinot Noir from vineyards in Jenins and Malans. The wine undergoes spontaneous skin fermentation in a 7,000-litre wooden vat, followed by 12 months in used barriques, and is bottled unfiltered. The result is a pure, timeless Pinot Noir combining characteristic fruit with well-balanced oak notes.
