Located in Vilariño de Cambados, in the heart of the Salnés Valley in Galicia, Bodegas Martín Códax embodies the soul of the Rías Baixas appellation and its emblematic grape, Albariño. Founded in 1986 and named after a medieval Galician troubadour, the estate symbolizes both tradition and modernity.

The Burgáns cuvée takes its name from the hill on which the winery stands, facing the Atlantic Ocean. This maritime exposure and the granitic soils lend the grapes a natural tension and a unique aromatic purity. Crafted with remarkable precision and deep respect for natural balance, this wine offers a vibrant, characterful, and seductive expression of Albariño.

Appearance: pale yellow with green reflections, clear and brilliant.

Nose: expressive bouquet combining green apple, pear, white peach, citrus zest, and white flowers, enhanced by subtle saline and mineral notes evoking sea breezes.

Palate: fresh and lively on the attack, silky texture with precise fruit expression. The acidity provides structure and length, leading to a long, elegant, and saline finish.

Food Pairing: ideal with seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, sushi, summer salads, or soft goat cheese.

Serving Temperature: serve between 10 °C and 12 °C.
