Description
Château d’Esclans, partly owned by LVMH, revived prestige rosés in Provence. The 2022 estate rosé is made from 30–35-year-old Grenache and Rolle vines, half fermented in stainless steel, half in demi‑muid barrels, balancing freshness and texture.
Tasting
Appearance: pale cuivred pink, crystal-clear.
Nose: floral notes, red berries, pear, vanilla.
Palate: creamy, mineral and saline, balanced acidity, rich texture, long finish with subtle oak.
Pairing: perfect as aperitif, pairs with fish, seafood, salads, white meats.
Serving temperature: 50–54 °F (10–12 °C)
