Description

To the eye: Deep, brilliant garnet-red color with purplish highlights, heralding great concentration.
On the nose: An expressive, refined nose, combining aromas of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and violets, with mineral and spicy touches and a subtle, well-integrated woody note.
Palate: silky, full-bodied and structured attack. The wine is both powerful and elegant, with a fine tannic structure and lovely freshness. Long, balanced finish, marked by great purity of fruit and a mineral signature typical of the Pauillac terroir.
Food pairing: Perfect with roast rack of lamb, duck breast, game (venison, hare), or mature cheeses such as aged Comté or truffled Gouda.
