Identity : Since 1895, Carvalho, Ribeiro & Ferreira has carried on the legacy of the finest Portuguese spirits. A history that, over the years, has been shaped by the sharing of fond memories around the table, more than a century of tradition and trust passed down from generation to generation.

This 4th edition, faithful to its DNA through its relentless obsession with perfection and the search for the best batches on the market, brings us a spirit from the Lourinhã demarcated region.

This region has unique soil and climate characteristics that make it difficult for the grapes to ripen and give the wine a profile rich in acidity and low in alcohol content - perfect for distillation and the production of exceptional brandy.

Appearance: It has an intense golden colour with amber reflections, the result of prolonged ageing in French and Portuguese oak barrels. Its clarity and brightness highlight the quality of the ageing process.

Aroma: On the nose, it reveals great complexity and aromatic depth. Elegant notes of dried fruits stand out, particularly walnuts and toasted almonds, enveloped by nuances of vanilla, caramel and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. There is also a slight hint of iodine and saltiness, reflecting the Atlantic influence of the region.

Palate: The attack is silky and balanced, with an unctuous and enveloping texture. The taste profile confirms the aromatic notes, with roasted nuts, honey and dark chocolate standing out. The well-integrated acidity adds freshness and prolongs the tasting, while notes of fine wood and spices add structure and sophistication. The finish is long, persistent and harmonious, leaving a sensation of warmth and elegance.
