Description
M. Chapoutier, founded in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage, is one of the Rhône Valley's most prestigious wine houses. Under the leadership of Michel Chapoutier, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture, the estate produces wines that faithfully express the identity of each terroir with purity, precision and authenticity.
Invitare is an elegant expression of the Condrieu appellation, crafted exclusively from Viognier. Its name, derived from the Latin invitare ("to invite"), celebrates conviviality and the pleasure of sharing. The grapes come from the steep granite slopes of Condrieu, Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône, Chavanay and Limony, where biotite and muscovite granite soils provide exceptional aromatic intensity, freshness and minerality. Partial oak ageing enhances complexity while preserving the natural elegance of Viognier.
