Description
Dynamic, generous and seductive. Moët Impérial is the House's emblematic champagne.
Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moët & Chandon style. Its blend reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three grape varieties: Pinot noir (30 - 40%), Meunier (30 - 40%) and Chardonnay (20 - 30%).
Tasting
Appearance: Pale yellow robe with golden highlights, brilliant and shimmering, with a fine and delicate stream of bubbles.
Nose: Aromas of roasted almond, hazelnut, gingerbread, and toasted cereals. Followed by fruitier notes of yellow plum, mirabelle, quince, and floral hints such as orange blossom.
Palate: Round and smooth on the attack. Harmonious, almost creamy texture. The finish is lively and fresh, carried by a bright acidity evoking clementine or pink grapefruit.
Food Pairing: A refined aperitif, smoked salmon, citrus-glazed poultry, mushroom risotto, sushi, or delicately sweet desserts.
Serving temperature: Between 7 and 8 °C.
