Rocca delle Macìe is an iconic Tuscan winery, founded in 1973 by film producer Italo Zingarelli. Located in Castellina in Chianti, the winery covers 600 hectares spread over six estates, including the Maremma, a coastal region renowned for its expressive wines. Now run by the Zingarelli family, the winery is renowned for its commitment to quality and winemaking tradition. The Sasyr wine is an innovative blend of Sangiovese and Syrah, symbolising the union of Tuscan tradition and Mediterranean influence. This wine embodies the balance and richness of the region's terroirs.

To the eye: Intense, brilliant ruby red.

On the nose: Intense aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry, raspberry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy and slightly woody notes.

On the palate: Supple, round attack, well-integrated tannic structure, fresh, lingering finish.

Food and wine pairing: Ideal with grilled meats, pasta in sauce, mature cheeses or spicy dishes.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
