Keir - Syrah 2022

Tua Rita is an iconic estate in Suvereto, in the Tuscan Maremma, founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti. Starting with just one hectare, the estate now covers 30 hectares and is renowned for its exceptional wines, including the famous Redigaffi. Keir' is an innovative cuvée, vinified for the first time in 2016, which marks Tua Rita's entry into amphora vinification. This 100% Syrah wine is made with prolonged maceration on the skins, bringing out the purity and varietal expression of the grape variety. The name ‘Keir’, of Greek origin, means ‘hand’, symbolising the craftsmanship and passion that go into the production of this wine.

To the eye: A deep ruby colour with purplish tints, brilliant and limpid.

On the nose: Intense aromas of ripe black fruit (blackberry, plum), accompanied by floral notes (violet), spices (black pepper) and hints of smoke.
