Tierre - Merlot 2023

The Tua Rita estate, founded in 1984 in Tuscany, is one of the most respected producers in the region. Located in the Val di Cornia valley, the estate has made a name for itself with its high-quality wines, especially the Tierre, an exceptional Merlot. The estate focuses on sustainable farming and innovation, blending tradition with modernity. The name "Tierre" comes from the word for soil (or "terroir" in Italian), reflecting the strong imprint that the Tuscan land leaves on each wine. This Merlot is a perfect expression of Tua Rita’s DNA, offering a unique balance between power and elegance.

In the Eye: The color of Tierre is a deep, almost black red, with violet reflections that showcase its concentration and youth.

On the Nose: The nose is complex and intense, with aromas of black fruits, black currant, black cherry, and a hint of vanilla and chocolate from its oak aging.

On the Palate: On the palate, this Merlot is rich, opulent, and well-structured. The tannins are fine and silky, while the texture is full and round. The flavors of black fruits are accompanied by subtle spicy and woody notes. The finish is long and harmonious.
