Tullamore D.E.W., originally from the town of Tullamore in County Offaly, Ireland, has become a benchmark in Irish whiskey by combining triple distillation, craftsmanship and extended maturation.

The 12 Year Old Special Reserve represents a premium expression from the house: a carefully crafted blend of pot still, malt and grain whiskeys, matured for 12 to 15 years in bourbon and sherry casks for added depth and complexity.

Appearance: pale gold with copper highlights, reflecting oak barrel maturation.

Nose: generous aromas of dried fruits (sultana, apricot), honey, vanilla, biscuit and gentle spice notes (nut, caramel).

Palate: smooth and velvety texture, confident attack, notes of toasted oak, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, vanilla and sherry. Long, elegant finish.

Food & Serving Suggestions: best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water; pairs well with dark chocolate dessert, toasted nuts or mildly aged cheese.
