La Sirène de Giscours 2020

Like Château Giscours, the second wine is conceived and designed in the vineyard from the spring onwards by the technical team. This thought process then continues in the cellar to reveal its full identity and elegance.
The viticulture and vinification are carried out to the highest standards to deliver the fruity notes and delicacy they love so much about Giscours.

Appearance : Deep ruby color with violet highlights, brilliant and intense.

Nose : Elegant bouquet of ripe black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), with floral notes (violet) and a refined hint of wood (cedar, vanilla).

Palate : Smooth attack, velvety texture. Lovely freshness, silky tannins, and fine structure. Flavors of crisp black fruits, licorice, gentle spices, and a long, slightly mineral finish.

Food & Wine Pairing : Perfect with fine cuts of meat such as roast lamb, duck breast, or grilled ribeye. This wine also pairs beautifully with porcini mushroom risotto or aged soft cheeses (Brie de Meaux, truffled Camembert).
