Sancerre - Clos Du Roy 2022

Located in Bué, at the heart of the Sancerre appellation, Domaine Alain Cailbourdin is acclaimed for its precise and expressive Sauvignon Blanc wines. Clos du Roy is one of its most prestigious vineyard plots, facing south/southeast, producing a wine of clarity, minerality and tension.

The 2022 vintage is marked by ripe fruit, vibrant aromatics, and a clean, mineral-driven palate.

Appearance: Pale yellow with green reflections.

Nose: Fresh citrus, white flowers, flinty hints.

Palate: Linear and focused with intense minerality. Lemon zest and a saline, crisp finish.

Food Pairing: Oysters, fresh goat cheese, sea bass sashimi, asparagus risotto.

Serving Temperature: 10–12°C.
