Founded in 1890, Damilano is one of the oldest family-run wineries in Barolo, located in La Morra, in the heart of Piedmont. Renowned for its commitment to tradition and quality, the winery showcases the unique expressions of the region's terroirs.
The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba 2021 is a recent addition, introduced in 2019, aiming to highlight the distinctive identity of Serralunga's soils. This wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced exclusively from this village, known for its powerful and structured Barolos.
Tasting
Appearance: Deep garnet color.
Nose: Noble aromas of small red berries, raspberry, and cherry, with spicy and mentholated notes.
Palate: Full, juicy, harmonious, and balanced, with elegant and precise tannins.
Food Pairing: Ideal with roasted red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses.
Serving Temperature: Serve between 18 and 20°C.
