Bell'Assai 2023

Donnafugata is one of Sicily’s iconic wineries, founded by the Rallo family and known for producing expressive wines full of character. Bell’Assai is a monovarietal wine made from Frappato, a rare native grape from the Vittoria area.

The 2023 vintage is a celebration of freshness, elegance, and aromatic brightness. It comes from southeast Sicily and reflects Donnafugata’s commitment to crafting terroir-driven, author-style wines.

Appearance: Light ruby red, bright and clear.

Nose: Intense notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, violet, and white pepper.

Palate: Light-bodied, juicy, and fresh, with soft tannins and long fruity persistence.

Food Pairing: Excellent with cured meats, veal tartare, mild cheeses, or light Asian cuisine.

Serving Temperature: 14 to 16°C.
