Whisky Laphroaig Lore

Founded in 1815, Laphroaig Distillery is one of Scotland’s most iconic whisky producers. Located on the island of Islay, it is famous for its intensely peated, maritime style.

Laphroaig Lore is regarded as the richest and most complex expression in the distillery’s permanent range. Created from a selection of whiskies matured in various cask types, it showcases the depth and heritage of Laphroaig’s traditional craftsmanship.

Appearance: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Powerful aromas of peat smoke, sea spray, cold ash, dark chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla, and sweet spices.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied. Peat smoke, caramel, dried fruits, black pepper, and toasted oak combine beautifully. Oily texture and exceptionally long finish with maritime and spicy notes.

Food Pairing: Ideal neat, with smoked salmon, oysters, dark chocolate, or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 18 and 20°C.
