Description
A few kilometers south of Beaune, in the prestigious area known as Côte des Blancs (slope of the whites).
This Premier Cru vineyard is located south-west of the village, in the southern part of the Meursault appellation.
The etymology of the appellation derives from "Porroux", meaning "stony place".
Tasting
Appearance: Pale golden color with bright reflections, clear and luminous.
Nose: Rich and elegant aromas of yellow fruits (peach, apricot), white flowers, with buttery, lightly toasted notes and a fine mineral touch.
Palate: Full and silky entry with a generous texture typical of Meursault. Rounded yet balanced by precise freshness. Long, harmonious finish with ripe fruit and subtle hazelnut nuances.
Food Pairing: Ideal with fish in sauce, shellfish, creamy poultry dishes, or soft cheeses.
Serving Temperature: Serve between 12 and 13°C.
