Risk All Reserva 2021

Risk All is a special edition produced by the historic house Marqués de Riscal, founded in 1858 in Rioja, Spain. This winery is deeply rooted in the history of the Rioja region: it was among the first to introduce the Bordeaux winemaking method locally, and was awarded a prestigious Diploma of Honour in Bordeaux as early as 1895.

Risk All Reserva is the first special edition launched to celebrate Marqués de Riscal being named “World’s Best Vineyard 2024” by the World’s Best Vineyards ranking. The special edition also stands out for its unique design: the label was created by Spanish illustrator Isidro Ferrer (winner of the National Design and Illustration Award), using a distinctive paper that evokes the texture of wood — a staging that blends wine tradition, art and modernity.

Appearance: deep cherry‑red colour, very intense, showing minimal evolution — a youthful hue. 

Nose: expressive aromas of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper, combined with concentrated ripe fruit; the oak ageing is subtle and well integrated. 

Palate: fresh attack, polished tannins, a nice balance of structure and fruit; long finish with delicate balsamic nuances. 

Food Pairing: pairs well with Iberian ham, mildly aged cheeses, gentle stews, pulses, poultry, red meat, grills or roasts. 

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
