Description
Established in 1756 by royal charter of King D. José I, Real Companhia Velha is Portugal's oldest wine company. Located in Vila Nova de Gaia, it owns prestigious estates in the Douro Valley, such as Quinta de Cidrô and Quinta do Casal da Granja.
The Royal Oporto White is a white Port made from over 50 indigenous grape varieties, predominantly Malvasia Fina. Grapes are sourced from high-altitude plateaus, providing ideal conditions for quality white Port production. This wine is a blend of different white Ports from various years, aged in old oak vats for an average period of two years.
