Whisky Springbank 12 ans

The Springbank 12 Years is an exceptional single malt Scotch whisky Cask Strength from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Founded in 1828 and still family‑owned, Springbank is one of the few distilleries to control every part of the process — from traditional floor malting to bottling — without chill filtration or additives. Its unique style combines maritime, fruity and lightly smoky influences characteristic of the Campbeltown region.

Appearance: Deep amber colour with brilliant highlights, indicating careful barrel ageing.

Nose: Intense and complex bouquet featuring dried fruit, citrus zest, buttery caramel, herbal hints and a light peat note, with a subtle maritime salinity reflecting its coastal origin.

Palate: Oily and powerful texture with nut, toasted wood, white pepper and malted cereal flavours, combined with rich fruit expressions like mandarin and orange. The light peat influence adds elegant smoky depth.

Food & Spirit Pairing: Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of fresh water to open up the aromas. Pairs superbly with dark chocolate or aged cheeses, and makes a fine digestif after a hearty meal.

Serving Temperature: Serve ideally between 18 °C and 20 °C to allow the full aromatic spectrum to express itself.
