Description
Located in La Motte, in the heart of Provence, Château d’Esclans has become one of the world’s leading names in rosé. When Sacha Lichine acquired the estate in 2006, his ambition was to create some of the finest rosé wines in the world and transform the perception of the category. This vision, which helped ignite the “Rosé Renaissance”, has created an iconic range stretching from The Pale and Whispering Angel to the estate’s prestigious wines Les Clans and Garrus.
The Pale by Sacha Lichine is an IGP Var rosé crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah. Its name refers directly to its remarkably pale, transparent pink colour, one of the defining characteristics of contemporary Provence rosé. The grapes are sourced from selected vineyards throughout the Var and harvested at night to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Fresh, spontaneous and approachable, The Pale offers a modern and relaxed interpretation of authentic Provence rosé.
