Description
Château Lynch-Bages, a Pauillac Grand Cru Classé since 1855, is renowned for powerful, elegant, and age-worthy wines. Owned by the Cazes family since 1939, the estate produces Echo de Lynch-Bages as its second wine, crafted with the same attention to detail as the grand vin but with a more approachable style.
The 2012 vintage expresses classic Bordeaux structure and freshness with early drinkability and refinement.

Tasting
Appearance: Bright ruby robe with purplish highlights, medium to deep in intensity, clear and luminous.
Nose: Delicate and expressive nose with aromas of fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry), redcurrant, and blackcurrant. Floral notes and a subtly integrated touch of oak.
Palate: Supple attack, with an elegant and well-structured mouthfeel. The tannins are fine and well-coated, supported by juicy fruit and a lovely tension. The finish is balanced and fresh, with notes of small black fruits and a smoky hint.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with veal chop and chanterelles, roasted duck breast, poultry stuffed with mushrooms, or a root vegetable gratin.
