Description
With the guidance of Michel Rolland, the cosmopolitan Merlot from the Estate's vineyards reveals the more robust side of its character.
Tasting
Appearance: Deep ruby color with violet highlights, dense and expressive at first sight.
Nose: An intense, complex nose revealing ripe dark fruits (blackcurrant, plum, blackberry) and red berry notes, along with nuances of vanilla, gentle spices, tobacco, coffee and chocolate, framed by elegant oak.
Palate: Full-bodied and generous on the palate, rich and concentrated with abundant fruit supported by firm yet velvety tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long, warm and persistent, with lingering notes of chocolate.
Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled or braised red meats, large roasted poultry, game, and medium-aged soft cheeses.
Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 °C and 18 °C to fully express its aromatic range.
