Duo - Syrah Grenache 2023

Septentria is a producer (or négociant label) in the Rhône Valley. The “Duo” cuvée blends mainly Syrah with a small part of Grenache, following a Southern Rhône red-wine style. 

The aim is to offer an accessible, expressive red wine, with enough structure to accompany food — a friendly, crowd‑pleasing wine. 

Appearance: deep, dark ruby‑red colour, typical of a well‑concentrated Rhône red wine. 

Nose: aromas of ripe red berries (raspberry, cherry, morello), sometimes with subtle spice and a slightly peppery hint. 

Palate: fresh and fruity attack, generous body, velvety tannins, good structure and a spicy finish. Grenache brings roundness, Syrah gives power and intensity. 

Food Pairing: great with charcuterie, grilled or stewed red meats, game, cheeses — also pairs well with Mediterranean dishes. A versatile, convivial red. 

Serving Temperature: 16–18 °C advised.
