Danaide 2022

Located in Peissy, in the heart of Geneva’s Mandement wine region, Domaine des Trois Étoiles covers 10 hectares of vineyards overlooking Geneva. Managed by Didier Fischer and Michel Tuor, the estate is committed to environmentally respectful viticulture and to producing authentic wines that express the character of Geneva’s finest terroirs.

Danaïde  is the estate’s flagship wine. This refined blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Petit Verdot (25%) offers an elegant and ambitious interpretation of premium Geneva red wines. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, it combines depth, elegance and excellent ageing potential.

Appearance: Deep ruby colour with intense brilliant reflections.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe black fruits, sweet spices, ivy notes and elegant oak influences from barrel ageing.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious entry. Silky tannins support a dense and generous structure. Long, rich and beautifully balanced finish.

Food Pairing: Excellent with beef tenderloin, grilled red meats, game dishes, slow-cooked cuisine, roasted lamb and mature cheeses.
