Founded in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage, Maison M. Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most prestigious producers. Discretia is an artisanal herbal liqueur born from years of research into the perfect balance of botanicals. Its name derives from the Latin word inspired by the writings of Hildegard of Bingen, meaning "the right measure", regarded as the mother of all virtues. Made from French grape spirit and grape sugar, it combines around forty botanicals, flowers, roots, barks and spices carefully selected from the Alps, the Diois, the Pyrenees and the world's finest terroirs.

Appearance: Crystal clear with golden highlights.

Nose: Preserved lemon, bergamot and verbena, followed by fennel, cedar, hawthorn and gentian.

Palate: Fresh citrus attack with delicate spice, tonka bean and elegant herbal bitterness. The finish is long, complex and perfectly balanced.
