Description
Cálem, founded in 1859 in Portugal’s Douro Valley, has established itself as a leading name in Port wine, combining tradition and quality.
The Velhotes cuvée — literally meaning “the mature men” — was launched in 1934 and quickly became a popular reference in Portugal, symbolizing friendship and shared moments. Today, Velhotes Tawny offers an accessible yet carefully crafted expression of the tawny style, aged in oak barrels, and emblematic of the house’s expertise.
