The Chita is produced by Suntory, one of Japan’s most prestigious spirits houses, founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii. Located on the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, the Chita Distillery specializes in crafting exceptionally refined grain whiskies. Originally created to enhance Suntory’s famous blends, these whiskies have gained recognition in their own right thanks to their elegance and smooth character.

The Chita Single Grain Whisky showcases the distillery’s expertise through a delicate, harmonious and sophisticated style. Matured in various cask types, it delivers a silky texture and subtle aromatic complexity that epitomize premium Japanese whisky craftsmanship.

Appearance: Bright pale gold color with delicate amber reflections.

Nose: Elegant aromas of honey, vanilla, custard cream, white flowers and fresh citrus.

Palate: Smooth and silky texture with notes of light caramel, pear, gentle mint and delicate oak. Clean, subtly spicy and persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal neat, with white chocolate, fruit desserts, dried fruits or refined Japanese cuisine.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C, neat, on the rocks or as a Highball.
