Masada - Malbec 2023

Masada Malbec is a red wine produced by Kadesh Barnea Winery, located in the Negev region of Israel. 

This wine offers an unusual take on the Malbec grape outside traditional regions (France, Argentina), giving wine lovers a chance to explore a different climate and vineyard context. 

Appearance: deep, dark colour typical of Malbec. According to descriptions, the wine has good depth and density. 

Nose: concentrated aromas of blackberry and plum, with complex undertones of dark fruits, complemented by hints of coffee and chocolate. 

Palate: velvety texture, smooth tannins, and a long finish. The wine offers balance between ripe fruit and structure, without harshness. 

Food Pairing: pairs well with meat stews, lamb, hearty dishes, Middle Eastern cuisine, and cheeses — including blue cheeses. 

Serving Temperature: around 16–18 °C, to best reveal fruit and aromatic complexity
