Eau de vie de Coing

The “Eau‑de‑vie de Coing” is produced by Morand, a family distillery founded in 1889 in Martigny in Switzerland, renowned for its expertise in fruit brandies and liqueurs. 

This quince brandy is crafted from locally harvested quince fruits. The process respects traditional fruit distillation methods: fruit fermentation followed by slow distillation in copper stills, preserving the fruit’s aromatic integrity. 

Appearance: clear, transparent, typical of a fine fruit eau-de-vie.

Nose: pure and fresh quince aroma, subtle fruitiness, occasionally light floral or herbal hints depending on the batch. 

Palate: soft, smooth entry; expression of quince flavor clear and delicate, fruity and lightly sweet — naturally, without added sugar; long finish, balanced, fresh and fine. 

Use & Pairing: traditionally enjoyed as a digestif, neat at room temperature or slightly chilled. Also suitable for long drinks, desserts (ice cream, fruit dishes) or cocktails.
